Cyber Security Management Division of NIRS attended the <35th Annual FIRST* Conference> held in Montreal, Canada from June 5th to 9th, 2023.
* FIRST (Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams) : The world's largest forum of incident response and security teams established in 1990, in response to tackle difficulties in international responses over various cyber incidents particularly over Worms occurred worldwide in 1988, and the needs to organize a consultative body among CERT teams around the world.

Attending a total of 13 sessions, including Enterprise Cloud Threat Hunting and Attack Investigation and Assessing e-government Resilience held at this annual meeting, the delegation had time to identify diverse global incident issues and trends and actively network with leaders in the field.

In addition, they had a chance to explore ways to broaden global cooperation through meetings and in-depth discussion with professionals in the field such as Sandia National Laboratories under the US Department of Energy, Information Security Management Team of Rio Tinto, the largest Australian mining company, and SISAP, an information security specialist group in Guatemala.
