The Inaugural Ceremony of Dr. Lee, Jae Yong, the 3rd President of NIRS was held on May 30th, 2023.

In the inaugural address, he said he was very honored to take on the important role of the President of NIRS, one of the key institutions leading the digital platform government, but at the same time felt a heavy responsibility.

As a direction to move forward, the new President stated, "We will take the lead in realizing 'Digital Platform Government', which is a national task and an innovation strategy of the new administration in Korea. We will leap forward to become a higher level government integrated data center by strengthening the stable operation of government information systems and AI based security systems, which surely back up one of the most basic and original missions of NIRS."
