The main focus of this agreement is mutual cooperation to improve cyber threat response capabilities, such as ▲sharing cyber threat information, ▲preventing and responding to infringement cases, and ▲safe use of new digital technologies.

In particular, the two organizations plan to jointly respond to cyber threats that are becoming more intelligent and advanced by exchanging the latest security technologies possessed by both institutions, such as next-generation security technology in the cloud environment and cyber threat analysis and response technology using artificial intelligence (AI).

In addition, the both parties plan to establish a broad cooperative relationship, including sharing the latest threat information necessary to respond to cyber threats and establishing a cooperation system to deal with security incidents together.

Dr. Lee, Jae-yong, the President of NIRS stated, "This agreement is significant in improving the nation's capability to respond to cyber crises by establishing a cooperative system between the two organizations dedicated to cyber security management in the public and financial sectors. By actively sharing the information and technology necessary to respond to cyber threats, it is expected that a safe and trustworthy cyber environment for the public will be created."
