President Kim, Myoung-hee gave a lecture at National HRD Institute about 'Digital Transformation' under the subject, <Understanding Digital Society> on August 13th, 2019 for 120 newly appointed managers.

In her talk, Digital Transformation in both public and private sectors were introduced and importance of data driven policy making was emphasized while she highlighted the needs of Digital Competency for managers in the era.

In the course of <Understanding Digital Society>, many other discourses about NIRS' distinguished capability employing digital technologies such as 'Information resource management in public domain', ' Policy making through Big Data analysis', and 'Cyber threat and safety' were followed.
