NIRS conducted a DDoS response drill jointly with Korea Local Information Research & Development Institute (KLID) on September 21st, 2023.

The training was aimed at the next-generation local tax revenue information system being built at the IDC of KLID, and was carried out to examine the defense system against DDoS attacks before the official opening of the service. NIRS performed DDoS attacks, and the KLID executed detection, blocking, and analysis of the attacks and identified vulnerabilities in the information and communication networks.

NIRS plans to continue promoting various collaborations, such as organizing joint training with external organizations to strengthen the cybersecurity management capabilities of public institutions.
