NIRS and SK Telecom concluded an MoU contract on February 18th, 2019 in regard to supporting balanced development of local communities and generating social values together.

Major parts of the collaboration include 1) co-conducting data analyzing projects which could possibly present social values over T-Map, floating population and fine dust, for instance, by exercising both public and the private data and sharing the results across the Ministries and Local Governments and, 2) creating new business models through temporarily sharing private SKT data with the local entities in needs to be able to execute Big Data analysis which particularily required for embracing the local-speficific-features.

Minister of Interior and Safety, Kim, BooKyum remarked that he would do all he could for people to be able to enjoy excellent government services by exercising quality private data to narrow the local gap in the era of decentralization.
