Followed by the October 13th's joyful news, NIRS was additionally chosen as a winning institution of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Region in the field of 'Future of Trust' of 'Future Enterprise Awards' at the "IDC DX Summit" on October 26th, 2022.

IDC Future Enterprise Awards (previous DX Awards) goes along across 12 countries in the APAC Region and selects winners per country and region respectively over 14 sectors.

According to the IDC, total of 1,071 projects from 707 organizations of 12 countries had participated in the competition this year.

The A.I. project of NIRS launched a TF for transition to the next generation security management scheme in March 2021. The innovative and distinctive security system was introduced by harnessing 'A.I.' and 'SOAR' technologies in the legacy systems.

It is one of the very first cases of employing A.I. technologies to the government/public security management system for digital government. It is capable of managing response time within 30 seconds which is equivalent to that of with over 100,000 human resources.

Linus Lai, the Vice President of IDC Asia Pacific Research Group stated, "NIRS did present outstanding achievements among the candidates at the 'Future of Trust' sector. Efficiency of responding capability could be maximized by being able to detect cyber attacks in advance by employing A.I. to the overall security system. It does benefit to build trust with clients and it is definitely aligned with their corporate mission which is to lead the digital government by providing quality ICT services."

In his acceptance speech, President of NIRS, Dr. Kang, Dong-seok commented, "Honor was all ours once again for 'the A.I. system of NIRS' to be able to award at the Asia Pacific region also along with the country sector. We will keep make our best efforts to achieve the mission by completely applying the new system into 4 centers of NIRS by 2025."
