President Kim, Myoung-hee won the first prize at '2019 CIO of the Year' on December 10th, 2019 hosted and organized by 'The foundation of Korean Information Industries' and 'Electronic Times'. The award evaluated capabilities in management innovation, disseminating informatization and professionalism fields over domestic CIOs and CISOs.

Being acknowledged by her major contribution in the area of government innovation and improving national competitiveness, she was chosen as the winner. Based on former experiences from private sector, she carried out systematic 'Digital Transformation' employing new technologies like Big Data, A.I. and Cloud to provide efficient digital public services.

She remarked, "I'm gratefully receiving this award on behalf of all the hard-working associates of NIRS making their best efforts to perform organized Digital Transformation across the enterprise and to implement an intelligent cloud computing center.
