Hi, I'm Jaeha, a public relations officer of NIRS.
Today is the 'Digital Government Day'.
Digital Government Day was designated in 2017 to let the public know about the excellence of the digital government services. We had invited the people who were interested in us and our services every year to the site, regretfully however, we need to do our this year's memorial online. Please enjoy the tour. Oh, by the way, we are not professional movie makers so, kindly be generous to us about any rough !
NIRS conducts quite tight ID check as we are one of the government institutions which require top level of security.
You can enter the facility only after getting an official approval. Once you arrive at the site, you need to present government issued ID, pick up a Pass and get belongings checked.
Electronic device such as USB, portable battery, laptop, voice recorder and camera are prohibited items to be carried in.
Well, shall we move in?

We do manage homepage health check as well. Something happens to a web page, we call the response team as promptly as possible to take follow up measures.
Now, I'm moving to the heart of Korean Digital Government, a computer room !
Hi, please kindly introduce a computer room.
This computer room no. 6 is in the 4th floor. We have major cloud systems for clients like The board of Audit and Inspection of Korea, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare and Ministry of Interior and Safety at this room which host about 14,350 device such as servers, storages, security and network device for 29 agencies.
Here, this computer room no.6 has the west and east zones.
Over there, at the east zone, you can see Disaster Recovery (DR) systems.
We have cross back-up systems in place both in Daejeon and Gwangju. Something happens to the primary center in Deajeon, you can recover services through the back-up systems in Gwangju and vice versa.
It was the computer room which plays a significant role for stable service provision.
So far, it was about the National Information Resources Service (NIRS). I see you all next year. Thank you for the kind attention. Bye~
