NIRS Daegu conducted a second-half emergency response drill on November 13 to prepare for potential power outage by simulating a power failure in the temperature and humidity control system.
The mock drill involved reviewing dual power supply availability of the Korea Electric Power Corporation as well as the emergency generators by operating generators and switching over power supply lines, and the actual simulated operation of the electrical facilities was carried out as part of a training program, serving as an opportunity to enhance on-site response skills and emergency response capabilities.
