NIRS Daegu was awarded <2020 Red Hat APAC Innovation Awards> at 'Red Hat Forum APAC Virtual Experience' held on October 21st, 2020.

Redhat grants <2020 Red Hat Innovation Awards> to those corporates who have brought significant changes to businesses, industries and societies with innovative thoughts, original ideas and creative use of the solutions to resolve problems.

NIRS Daegu won the prize at the digital transformation, automation sector.

NIRS Daegu has implemented a Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) for the government cloud to realize the vision that providing intelligent cloud services.

Mr. Hunjoon Kim, the Head of the NIRS Daegu Project Implementation Office stated, "In order to enjoy the most use of Cloud, it is essential to improve the efficiency of cloud operation and be able to effectively support the use of cutting edge technologies."

He added that he would not save any effort not only to nurture application development capability of local government agencies and public institutions by embracing standardized platform, automation and open source technologies but also to provide the people-centric digital government services as promptly as possible.
